This test is performed to find the degree of specular reflectance of papers like supercalendered, immitation art and art.

Apparatus

The foil apparatus is recommended. 

Ingersol Glarimeter - for paper of low gloss (15 percent reflectance and below).

Photo-Electric Reflection Meter - for paper of high gloss (15 to 75 percent reflectance) employing an angle of 75°.
