Type of paper

(1) A paper (usually of tissue weight which is placed in front of illustrations in books or between two or more engravings, etchings, sheets and cellulosic films, etc. (2) A paper which is inserted between sheets as they come off the printing press to prevent offset. (3)Thin blottings used in diaries. (4) A paper made from mechanical pulp which is used in the printing of textiles. Also see Flock Tissue.
