Type of paper

A variety of paper with good stiffness, strength and noncorrosive properties and uniform in caliper used in the manufacture of ammunition such as cartridge paper, which forms the tube section of a shotgun shell, and basewad paper, which is dense paper used in the base of the shell. The paper is usually made on a cylinder machine from rag, flax, chemical pulps, or a combination of high-grade, reclaimed paper stock.
