Type of paper

(1) A multiply paper or board of varying weights depending upon its use, which is united by means of asphalt or adhesive, embedded in which is the necessary reinforcing material, such as string, yarn, sisal, synthetic fibers, or glass fibers, (2) A paper, such as filler paper which has been reinforced by cloth", copper, or other material to prevent tearing at the punched areas. (3) Waterproof sheathing paper to which is bonded a continuous layer of a metal; the paper is a high effective moisture and vapour barrier and can be used as a termite shield. (4) A single ply paper or board in which has been incorporated reinforcing material such as snrim.
