Type of paper

A general term applied to sized or unsized paper which has been impregnated or coated with molten wax in a separate converting operation. When the wax is impregnated into the paper, the product is referred to as dry waxed. When the wax remains on the paper surface as a coating, it is then referred to as wet waxed. It is generally .used for wrapping and packaging purposes. Examples are bread wrapper, carton liners, cracker box liner, etc.
