Constitution And Rules

1. Every persons, firm or joint stock company who is eligible to be a member according to Clause III above shall be required to make an application in writing on the prescribed form as per Appendix 'A', or any other revised version thereof, as also any supplementary form as may be prescribed by the Executive Committee. The application shall be recommended by at least two members of the Executive Committee.
2. The decision of the Executive Committee regarding admission or rejection of application for membership shall be final. No reason may be given therefore.
3. No rejected applicant shall be allowed to attend any meeting of the Association.
4. Any company, association or body of individuals whether incorporated or not, which is member of the Association shall appoint in writing with proper Power of Attorney in such form, as may from time to time be required by the Executive Committee, such individuals, who in the case of a partnership firm must be partners in the firm or persons duly authorised in writing with proper Power of Attorney by the firm to act on behalf of the firm and in the case of a company must be a Director or Officer of the company or person duly authorised in writing with proper Power of Attorney by the Company to act on behalf of the Company, in all matters including the arbitration proceedings and the proceedings' before any forum or Sub-Committee and to represent in all the meetings of the Association. Such appointed persons shall be entitled to exercise the same power, including the right to vote at the election, on behalf of the members whom they represent as if they were individual members of the Association.
5. No application shall be considered where another firm with the same name/constitution is already a member of the Association.
6. Any applicant who is already a member of another Association relating to paper and its products in Union Territory of Delhi cannot be enrolled as a member of the Association.
